Zee TV is undoubtedly one of the most popular channels in India and they are ready to launch their new TV show ‘Amma’ which tells the life of a simple mother who turns into a mafia godmother. ‘Amma’ is based on the life of Jenabai Daaruwali who was quite an influential personality in the Mumbai underworld. The story will explore the journey of this female don who will rise up and rule the underworld through five decades after her husband left her. In the process, she gets into illegal activities and meets people like Haji Mastan, Dawood Ibrahim. Eminent actor Aman Verma will be also playing a pivotal role in this show. He will portray Shekharan Shetty, a south Indian don in ‘Amma’.
